KELSEY ISMAN
Program Administrator
Kelsey is a former Division III swimmer. She has a bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience & Behavior, Psychology, and Spanish from Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT. She currently works at the National Institute on Drug Abuse, studying stigma and social perceptions related to substance use disorder and the social determinants of mental health. Kelsey experienced chronic health issues (both mental and physical) during her athletic career which caused her to learn to reframe her goals and redefine success, both in and out of the pool. In her free time, Kelsey enjoys coaching age group swimming and petting as many dogs as possible. She hopes to pursue a career in clinical psychology and psychiatric epidemiology in the future.
