KAIA SIMPSON

Kaia is a former Division I softball pitcher at UC San Diego. She has a B.S. in Human Biology and is currently applying to medical school and completing her Medical Assistant certification. Throughout her collegiate career, Kaia experienced physical injuries culminating in spinal surgery one month after graduating. The mental health repercussions of this injury served as a catalyst to her launch of the UCSD chapter of The Hidden Opponent

In her spare time, Kaia enjoys crocheting and spending time with her cats, Mars and Herman.
