SLEEP

MOVEMENT

Exercise is a great way to relieve stress. Now, this does not mean you need to go run a marathon or lift heavy weights. A simple stretch break or a short walk can improve your mood and increase endorphins, thus relieving your stress. My personal favorite form of movement is yoga. Especially Yoga with Adriene!

MEDITATION

It has been scientifically proven that meditation can decrease stress and improve mental well-being. Meditation can also offer you techniques to prevent stress before it starts.

MUSIC

Music affects both our emotions and our body. Slow music can quiet your mind and relax the muscles in your body. While upbeat music can increase your happiness.

TALK IT OUT

Try calling up a trusted friend and talking about your problems. Your friend can be a voice of reassurance to help put things in perspective and get you back on the right track.
